We become immortal beings on a planet where energy cannot support immortality, so plans are made to limit our energy use. Heaven on Earth becomes the way of life, and punishment is imprisonment inside computer simulations of Life on Earth's past. People however enjoy these simulations and start to live in the simulations themselves. This reduces the energy problem. You live in the simulation from birth to death, and wake up in Heaven On Earth as an immortal being. The simulation contains a Bible which is the rules of becoming good, do you believe in good? If you are good you get to stay in Heaven On Earth, otherwise you go back into another simulation, and start again from scratch... new parents, new life, another chance to believe in good. So where are you now?
