OK, so as far as I can understand the experiment, because it is not 100% clear, I solve it this way...
Propagation is towards magnetic holes in space as the area of least resistance. The holes travel backwards from any atomic structure. Holes travel backwards also from the hydrogen atom... so the destination, and the movement energy combine at some mid distance. This is the solar wind for example, but works for everything. Imagine two combined solar winds from two suns, so you have a mid distance combination... that is propagation, so something will form there, and it is in the future of the moving suns. You can take a result from this future physics thinking that you are taking a reading from the present. Finally the sun reaches this position, and now you treat that old reading as the past.
Just think of movement as a hole created slightly in your future.
