Friction is created by the flow direction of Y-Waves towards quantum holes. The holes create strings with the Y-waves threading them. The Y waves can be converted into X/Z waves which flattens them off, and so slices them. Space has friction, but quantum holes have negative friction, so atoms move through space with friction followed by negative friction... 1 + -1 = 0.
