Why Are Mathematicians Called Scientists? Science is the study of nature, and maths is more a study of numbers. Scientists who don't study nature should not be called scientists, and in fact are throwing science backwards hundreds of years.
Just the word 'entropy' shows how bad mathematicians are at studying nature...
That's like a blind man's version of entropy. Entropy is made from scalar spins which work like putting your hands on the clay of a potter's wheel. When all of the spins of different scales press together the bigger spins get pressed more than the smaller spins which evens out all of the quantum spins which work as in-flows, and out-flows for temperature propagation.
You see the study of nature has to do with physics, but the maths version has to do with maths. They are not the same thing, and mathematicians are blind to physics. being blind to physics puts science back hundreds of years. Mathematicians need to realise that they are not really studying nature at all.
