The Offset Of An Accelerometer Is Wrong Accelerometers have an offset to compensate for gravity making its default state point upwards, and freefall set at zero, that is wrong. The default state should be a spin that is a stationary state in physics which you can use to correct the accelerometer. The spin is like a tornado to the Earth.
The main reason to use the spin correction is to study physics more accurately. When energy is held still it is stored as a spin state. The illusion of freefall is another failure in physics due to the aphantasia of mathematicians. I don't really like the fact that this illusion is also used in accelerometers.
