Link... Insect wings might serve gyroscopic functionPincho says... Leaves on plants help to convert a Y-Wave into an X/Z wave which is the same shape as a gyroscope. Being as insects have wings similar to the leaves on plants they probably work by also helping to find an X/Z wave from a Y-Wave.
