I've been very tired the past few days....get home from work and go straight to bed.....nothing interesting to say....I had to postpone my plans [to leave my job], until September....I put my 2 week notice in and it didn't fly too well....next time I will not give notice, as my boss conned me into staying.......I think I got a little depressed because I have to prolong the agonizing rat-race job longer...and I was already over-due to quit a year ago......I long to have free-time to do nothing or at least do the things I've been wanting to do, but haven't the energy.....the internet has been my only escape and way to relax....I just waste my time away...I know....I don't get anything out of it either....sometimes it's fun....that's about it....otherwise I have done nothing but set myself up for disappointment....and make a total fool of myself......anyways....I hope you are doing well Pincho....you are a gentleman, and I don't care what other people say or think of you....if they were half as smart as they thought they were they could see your logic, so simple and clear....and true....everything IS holes and fillers....all there is, is space and form.

You have been quiet lately. Having a job is good, it allows you to pay for a hobby. My hobbies are expensive.. extremely expensive. If I won the lottery it would just about pay for my hobbies. I'm probably the only person that would have more work to do winning the Lottery than not winning it.

Yes...buying art supplies are expensive....but artists that were low on funds got creative and painted with only a few colors, on whatever they could get their hands on, (cardboard, wood, glass...) I also prefer organic fruits & veggies.....but if I was poor I'd manage to stay healthier by buying only fruit and nuts, eatting less, but better quality....sometimes when you have too much money to blow you buy unnessesay things like cake, candy, icecream, junkfood....at least I do I also buy lottery tickets (only spend a few dollars per week). I just HATE having to set my alarm clock for 4:30 am, to hit the snooze until 5, so i can get out the door by 5:30, so I can be at work by 6:30am !!! I've NEVER been a morning person....I like to stay up late at night....and get up whenever I feel like it....I hate having to live by the clock !!! I hate having to be somewhere on time !!! I love not thinking about what time it is !!! What are your other hobbies ?

My hobbies?...
Computer Programming...I want to program the Universe, and I make computer games, and Applications, and simulations.
Keyboards... Synthesisers are expensive, and I like to make my own music. There are about 6 synths that I would like.
Photography, and movie making.
Painting.. art.
Watching Movies, big TV's, and surround sound.
I would also like to design clothes if I had enough money.
The most expensive buy would be a computer fast enough for me to program the Universe in.

I want to program the Universe mainly because I think that the tiny physics will be pretty, like snowflakes. It's very hard to figure out all of the shapes in my head.
A telescope would be nice, I would like to go to a planetarium.

well...like in real life....I guess it was pretty basic and simple in the begining....then as the environment changed, so did the simple early forms of life evolve into more complex shapes.....I guess your simulation of the universe would be like looking at evolution....how things evolved.......it amazes me...all the variety/diversity....like why did bananas evolve....why did oranges, and all the things on earth.....boggles the mind !!! I went to a planetarium when I was in grade school....I think that's when I developed a love of astronomy...that and just sky gazing.....but I can hardly ever see the stars at night because of all the lights in the city And I'd be scared to drive by myself out into the country just to sky gaze....lol

The shapes of things often have something in common. Like if you cut fruit in half you can often see a snowflake down the middle. But the amazing thing is that things like roses grow, die, grow, die. They repeat, and no maths.
I've been out in the country on my own to look for meteor showers. It was a bit daunting, and there was too much cloud anyway.

I would love to know how and why things evolve. Like why did roses evolve ? It boggles the mind. As much as you know there is no creator god out there....there does seem to be some kind of intelligence designing the universe....or is it all random chaos ?

Well that's another reason that I wanted to write the computer program. To see if it created the right shapes all by itself. The Game Of Life.... Game Of Life...is random. It creates these shapes that move around. It is a very simple computer program. I know a way to re-write the program to get it to work better, more realistic, and 3D. So some of the shapes of life should appear randomly. But I need a faster computer.

How could it be determined as to whether or not the shapes were created by themselves...when a human initially programed it ? See ? There already you have an intelligence that predated the event ! I haven't downloaded the Game of Life, yet, but it looks interesting.....to see what sort of pattern would develop.....seems like mother nature has a design, [sacred geometry ?] that follows certain laws or principals.....it could never design something that wasn't logical [could it ?]

The human didn't program the shapes, he programmed the rules. It's different. It's like having a rule that a volcano must erupt plastic to see what shapes it makes. The Universe has rules, and mainly don't overlap, and bump.

Now that was interesting ! Especially this : "This means that, over the entire history of the universe, it is the Boltzmann brains' experience of the universe and not ours that is typical. That's a problem, because the starting point for our understanding of the universe and its behaviour is that humans are typical observers. If we are not, our theories begin to look iffy." Yes...we always assume we are the only intelligent species in the Universe....I've always considered humans the less evolved species, [compaired to other civilizations that were here millions of years before us]....that's one of the reasons it's hard for us to comprehend so many things....our brain has not yet evolved to figure some things out [?] Also, It probebly wouldn't even look like a human brain....I've always felt there was so much more to know, but we haven't the capacity to understand...because our brains haven't evolved as fast as the Universe...I mean, the Universe has been here Gazillions more years than the human brain..although we are a product of the intelligence of the Universe.....the Universe is our mother and father.....
