Before nature selects, gene networks steer a course for evolution
Pincho says...
No physics? So many scientific subjects are really the same physics, but they all come under different categories, and all seem to be making things sound really complicated. Nature repeats patterns, because the universe is quantized, and that quantized structure stacks into neat fractals, a particle stacking system. Distances are built between quantum holes separated by gravitational spin, and collisions create an outflow of magnetism. Forks in the Y axis create symmetry, because X/Y/Z are also fractals, and Y is a unique fractal...X/Z share a fractal mirrored. When Y collides the result is a split into the X/Z symmetry.
These physics work for everything, the structure of the Universe already contains the fractals that create the shapes. Then physics that collide with our environment tune the shapes to the background. Fish shaped to water live in an inverted version of a criss-cross energy propagation through water, so the fish have a criss-cross shaped body. Arms to hands on humans are splayed like roots to trees, and that energy was pressed against land that had an area of least resistance that was zig-zagging through soil, and sand. With the area of least resistance combined with the hidden structure of the Universe the propagation has to follow certain directions. You start with an ancient worm like a blank canvas, smooth body, and from there you identify the propagation through soil, and sand, and water, and the worm propagates fractals all over its body, you can still find many worms today with many variations in body shapes.
Talking about genes does not really identify the physics.
