Scientists call a lot of physics waves when in fact those physics are not wave physics. Lets start with the Ocean waves as they are easy to see...
Ocean waves are the propagation of chained atoms between oxygen links, and it is the links that are important to the wave.
Now lets look at a human spine...
The human bends it body's vertical axis along its spine, and the spine is made up of links, and it is the links that are important to this bending.
What is a link then?
A link is a separation where weak bonding can change direction.
What is a wave then?
A wave is that 3 links can bend from a starting point, and back to that starting point, but 1 or 2 links can only bend without a cycle, so 1 or 2 links can leave a gap between propagating forces. Then with 3 links you have a peak, and a trough in the middle.
So what is particle then?
A particle is a spin of gravity around a hole.
What is particle wave duality then?
Particle wave duality is when gravity spins around a hole (which is the X/Z axis) then changes axis to the Y axis which is the joint between the next hole which is the next X/Z axis. X/Z axis also represents Orbital Angular Momentum. Do this a couple of times, and you have a wave, but really you always had all of the physics in a single unit, so the wave is not fundamental.
A wave is hardly ever fundamental, apart from sound, which only seems to exist from joints, and as a phonon seems incomplete. Light however is more complete as a photon than a wave, because colour is most likely a spin around a hole. This means that light travelling through space only has a virtual existence as a y axis between quantum holes, and can't exist fully until it hits atoms which are bigger holes. The wave property of light is a secondary property that follows spin, whereas sound is supported by the wave alone between atoms. You could say that sound is external to atoms, but light is internal to atomic holes, and internal to quantum holes. Light uses Y axis tunnel propagation to X/Z axis holes...
Sound uses propagation between atomic axis joints, which makes sound totally a wave. In space there are no atomic joints for sound to propagate along.
Light uses propagation between quantum holes to bigger quantum holes in atoms. Light can propagate quantum holes into space as a magnetic Bow Shock which does not allow the total X/Z spin to colour, but maintains colour as the length of the Y axis bow shock.
Speed also equals this bowshock Y axis length.
Relativity is to do with the y axis length.
Time is to do with the Y axis length.
That just about sums up the physics for waves. Scientists use the term in the wrong situations.
