Link... Leading theory of consciousness rocked by oddball studyPincho says... It hasn't rocked me, my idea still works... I have been working on an Ai program, and the program is to be based on my attempt to recognise my own thought process. So I am looking in a mirror that is looking in a mirror. The above link works with what I call 'The Clutch'. When driving you have an engine that is running, and although it is running it can be disconnected from turning the cogs, and getting the wheels spinning. The brain in my idea has a clutch, and the reason that it has a clutch is so that ideas can be tested in virtual reality, before reality. My program is to do with a robot, and my example is to do with swordfighting, the virtual swings of the sword would happen before real swings of the sword. Or if you have seen other Neural Network programs you may have noticed humans attempting to stand, attempting to walk, falling over a lot in a computer simulation... all of that can be done with the clutch, so you don't see the man stand up, and walk, the robot imagines it first, and then after a few thoughts, it lets go of the clutch, and uses the best option. So as you can see, my idea stands with the above link, I don't need to change anything. Pincho Paxton
