Link... Moods may have an evolutionary purposePincho says... The brain solves problems, but some problems are impossible to solve. If someone next door to you wants to play their music as loud as possible it may put you in a bad mood. You are then trying to solve this problem, but the mood is a blocker, because the brain has no answers. You could knock on the door, ask them to turn down the music, this procedure will often fail. So the blocker is a bad mood that is attempting to re-direct circular thinking. The brain is always reluctant to break apart useless information, because it connects to useful information, and circular thought processes might be solved by removing something useful. So the blocker is the bad mood attempting to isolate your thoughts. Pincho Paxton
