It is possible that there will be a future where humans take of mechanical body parts, and in that future the Earth forces us to become machines to survive.
So we are on Earth as robots to breath in acid gasses for example.
Now, we eventually forget how to be human, and we start to live like machines. In an attempt to remember our human ancestry we build simulations where we can live the life of a human once more. We are born as a baby...
...the gist of this is that we are inside that simulation right now, and when we die we discover that we are robots, however we remember how to be human, because we lived the life of a human.
But I was thinking...
...if you are a robot would you want hair?
I mean hair would be false like a wig, instead you could be a shiny metal looking person, or nice blue mechanical style. False hair could be reminiscent of a caveman to a robot.
So it may be the case that as a robot you prefer a stylised head...
... which means that you aren't completely bothered about your hair at all, but other factors mean that you want your hair, like health for example, the fear of getting old.
I think that a lot of people who would have a robot body would have one without hair.
