I just started a new job working outdoors, and I never spend much time outdoors. I got burned, and am about to use suntan lotion for the first time. So the question is...
Why Does Sunburn take a few hours before you feel it?
It's not just a typical question, because evolution usually warns you of a danger, like a frog is bright coloured to warn you of poison. Sunburn has no warning, and instead hides the truth from you. You are out in the sun, and getting warm, but 4 to 8 hours later you are burning indoors.
With skin cancer as a threat to everyone, it might be a good question to ask.
