First a link... Sea worm fossil gives clues to 'common ancestor'That's an acorn worm with full length body gills for feeding...not quite what we are looking for. The creature that turned into humans first had to grow legs, and turn into a salamander. So this would be a metamorphic worm that changes quite rapidly to its environment. A single worm could exhibit many stages of change over a single lifetime. So the worm would have many forms all misidentified as separate worms, but all actually the same worm. You would have a worm with frills, a worm with gills, a worm with sprouting tendrils... all the same worm. Also the worm would leave the sea, and live in the sand to change into a salamander. You need gravity at full strength to grow legs, that's why I ignore the fish. Pincho Paxton
