How long have humans walked upright in their stages of evolution? In my theory humans did not develop from fish, they developed from worms, and salamander. We see worms today wiggling along the ground, but they are not the worms that created humans, they are more like reject worms that didn't evolve very well at all. The worms that I propose evolved into humans were fantastic at metamorphosis, and would take to land from the sea quite quickly. But how soon could those creatures walk upright? We see lizards running along the ground with a tail, and they run upright. The tail is a good counterbalance, and a worm just needs some counterbalance to lift itself upright. So what I am suggesting is that humans evolved from a worm that developed limbs, and managed to stand upright quite quickly. So why did the worm evolve to walk upright? I also suggest this... Sandcastle wormA lot of worms build tubes to live inside, and these structures would help a worm to evolve into an upright walking creature. So it is possible that humans have walked upright for a very long time in their history of evolution. Pincho Paxton
