Thanks!!! I use Acrylics because they are supposed to survive longer than Oils which crack over time.

really ? i wasn't aware of that ! you mean if all those old masters had painted in acrylics they would of been preserved better ? i don't like the flatnness of acyrilics....i have yet to experiment with gels and thickners.....oils are also more toxic & expensive...i love the smell though

Oils are better to paint with. If only they could make them last longer.

Your art is really good Pincho. When did you start painting ? Are you self taught ? I took classes in high school....majored in art in college...but dropped out the first year....i was never a serious student in school....always goofing around and having too much fun....story of my life....lol Are you commissioned a lot ? I was commissioned once to do a painting [for a neighbor], i had total freedom to do anything i liked...but it drove me crazy to srtive for perfection....the canvas was so heavy from painting over & over stuff....lol i told myself i would never do commissioned work again ! lol it did turn out very cool ....huge...but i didn't take a photo....and lost contact with the neighbor after she moved...i have no idea why the above turned to blue letters [!]

It's a hobby, I don't like selling my paintings. I'm more of a graphic designer, I have worked on Computer Games as an artist. In the past I have worked on some top games, and I've been mentioned in computer game magazines. There are some sites about my games on the internet.. hol.abime.net/hol_search.php?N_ref_artist=1966

When you make computer games you have to create physics, like Gravity etc. So you learn a lot about physics. When Einstein comes up with physics he just looks at a blackboard, but when I come up with physics I can watch them on a computer, which lets you see if the physics are really working.

yes....it doesn't really matter what form you use....as everything is equally made from the same stuff...it just has a different appearance....so you working with the stuff that computer programs are made of is exactly the same stuff that everything else is made from....you're just working with a different medium....like a painter would use paints, a sculpturer would use clay, the mathamatican uses math, a computer programer uses computer generated [pixels?]

Computer programs can also write the maths, so its like a blackboard that moves the chalk itself.
