Link... Why I bought my six-year-old daughter a drag racerSometimes logic is hard to see even for the greatest of genius, but logic is often required for calculating the balance of safety vs fun. When it comes to kids safety it is up to the adults to decide as a whole on the choices that parents make for their own children. Sometimes parents are blinded by the balance of fun, and keeping their child happy. As a whole collective of adults we do not care about keeping the child happy, only the parent have that weight added to their choices. As a whole we just have... 1/ The fun aspect 2/ The danger aspect 3/ The learning/educational aspect 4/ The future values that this may bring to the child 5/ The mental well-being of the child In this case 1 child has died by crashing into a concrete wall, it has to be added to the danger aspect. The other aspects are OK, no problems. Is 1 child enough to ban the sport? I don't think that the percentage is high enough to worry about. Therefore I think that the sport is OK. Pincho Paxton
