This is a bit of a wild theory, but its based on plenty of evidence, I suppose that you have to go with the evidence. First a link... Pincho Paxton's strangest TheoryIf it were true that a change in the Earth's magnetic field created out-flows from the Earth to such a degree that stones could be lifted quite easily, it may also be true that bonding between molecules became weaker as well. The physics that I personally think create bonding are to do with gravity collisions between atoms due to fractals leading towards dead ends. The example that I use is the snowflake, which from water becomes harder due to a 6 pointed fractal leading towards a single point. If you have such a massive change in the magnetic field of the Earth as to lift stones, and make water rise then you may also have a fractal which changes the density of stone due to a loss of bonding strength. Then it may become easier to shape, and sculpt stone using chemicals. Pincho Paxton
