Peloton exercise bike ad mocked as being 'sexist' and 'dystopian'

So I came here to defend the advert. Psychologically there is nothing wrong with the advert so something else is going on here. There seems to be a shift in the attitude of the viewers that has altered their psychology so that they find the advert offensive, and the media has joined in taking the overall complaint numbers, and using those numbers as proof that there is something wrong with the advert. Numbers don't always mean a proof of fact!

The truth is that the advert has been misidentified by a few, and joined in by the 'many' as something similar to brainwashing... like 'The Emperors new Clothes'

There's nothing wrong with the advert, and my knowledge of psychology makes me immune to the brainwashing.
