That particular part of the movie does not give me chills, it is different for everybody. It would be good to know why Punk Rock is amazing for some people, but horrible for other people.
For me the combination of surprise, and slowly increasing realisation that something unknown is about to happen with astounding results works.
... but how does Rap work?
I have listened to the words in rap, and they are often selfish... give me, when I, I want, Take me, when I'm with you.
Yet rap will give some people chills.. it must be fulfilling the selfish need... which I don't have.
The biggest chills that I actually get are from the syncs that I have put together, because the maths says that they shouldn't work so well, but they just do.
Nothing But The Sucker Punch has a coincidence at 27:30 that blows my mind, but you shouldn't skip to it else it might not work without the context of the earlier parts of the film...
