This is a true story, but do you believe it?...
I was on the Beach with my daughter. I'm not really into beaches, I soon get bored, and I don't like to take my shoes, and socks off. I saw this glowing thing in the water about 4 ft away.. it looked a bit like a glowing egg. I wanted to get it, so I told the water to move back so that I could get it. The water moved back a foot. I stepped in the wet sand. Then I told it to move back a bit more. It moved back again. I did it until I could reach it. So I got it. I was standing on the brown, wet sand, and behind me was the light dry sand. So I stepped back onto the light sand. The water followed me back, until it was touching the light sand again. It stayed there (not like a tide). I looked at the glowing egg, I think it was a sea anemone. I threw it back in the water, and started to walk away. Then I though... "that was cool, I seemed to move the water back."..
So I went back to the sea to see how far I could move it. The water was still by the dry light sand. "Move back!" I thought.
It went back!!!
So I pushed it back about 6 ft, and then it felt like I could feel the weight of the whole sea. I was on the dark sand, and behind me 6ft away was the light sand.
When I walked back to the light sand, the sea followed me, and it stayed there. It stayed there for at least half an hour whilst I looked for crabs. It didn't move back on its own.
It seemed to me that I actually moved the sea back, and it's not the only time I have had to move water around. 3 times in total I have manipulated water. I would say that humans actually do have a relationship with water.
