What is a band gap in solid state physics? Gravity flows towards quantum holes in matter, then Gravity scales down when it collides, it can be forced to collide through certain patterns of holes. Then it outflows, and the outflow can also be forced to collide again, but it gets more difficult each time. You get the Quantum Hall effect from the way that gravity scales down, because gravity is segmented by kissing number shapes. It scales down in a mathematical way, because space is quantized.
Electrons are holes with a spin inside them of gravity which creates mass. Gravity scales down to escape, and the escape route is the band gap.
