You don't have any gasses before supermassive black holes exist, you only have clumpy gravity, and clumpy Aether. Black holes break down into particle physics. Black holes also break down gravity, and the aether into finer versions. Black holes react with space like whooshing your hand around in washing up liquid to make finer bubbles, but they aren't sticky, they have spin that keeps the bubbles individual, but touching.
