Everything we touch, and feel.... we are feeling quantum spins. It is the spin of gravity that makes something solid, but it is an extremely fast spin. The reason that it feels solid is that you can't cross the spin faster than the spin can cross itself. It's like... "Can you move fast enough to get the cheese out of the mouse trap that has been wired up by photons"?. That's how you build the universe just from gravity, and you don't need anything else.
