I'm not sure you are helping yourselves though. Electrons are holes, gravity is a filler, combined you have a cloud in a hole. The direction of the cloud in the hole depends on the area of least resistance. Clouds don't overlap, so they point in a direction, and have a few options... left/right/centre, and if all options are blocked they have up/down, and if those options are blocked they have spin, and scale, and also the whole thing can tilt. Conduction is for the Y axis to tilt forwards, and the whole process not to block itself off. I think that my terminology is much closer to real life than phonons. Pincho Paxton
