Link... Tutoring relieves math anxiety, changes fear circuits in childrenPincho says... The anxiety has to do with cross flows of thought physics. Sometimes you can do one thing but not another, for example it is hard to kill animals for food if you love animals. Math's creates a force that inhibits the want to have fun with no end results, like art (It is a choice to enjoy the end result), or playing in the park, because maths teaches you that end results are certain, and that certainty can stimulate you. The best way to enjoy maths is to combine it with fun, and that is to program computer games. With computer game programming it is a combination that links maths with fun, and the end result isn't a certain fact. 7 + 3 = 10... certain. The Mona Lisa is amazing!... not certain. I kicked a ball into a net, and scored a goal... not certain. I programmed gravity into my football game, I animated the little football players, and created the music... both together. And combining both can connect the stream in the mind, otherwise you only have a temporary solution. Anyway, a really good scientist needs a knowledge of physics, and maths... and physics isn't certain until you understand it properly. Pincho Paxton
