There are two extremes to consider... 1/ The conspiracist thinking... trust no one 2/ The Naive thinking... trust everyone Then there is the swing between the two to consider... 3/ The average Person The average person talking to someone with conspiracist thinking will swing towards the naive thinker to compensate as an attempt to swing the person with conspiracist thinking more towards the average. So during an argument between the two the distance has widened, so the investigation in the link would have to account for this widening of the distance between the average thinker and the conspiracist thinker. Also I think that the average thinker is already closest to naive, because people in the higher positions of companies have mild psychotic tendencies, which throws the whole world slightly out of touch with the reality. VW for example had to make a blind mistake due to excessive greed, which is not average thinking. Pincho Paxton
