Link... Placebo effect works in video games tooPincho says... This happened in the 80's to 90's when I worked on computer games. There was a guy working on one of the Summer Games series, and I worked with him some time after. He told me that in the menu he put Easy Mode, and Hard Mode, but never got round to coding the differences. He sent the game to be tested, and people who played the Easy Mode said it was too easy, and when they played the Hard Mode they said it was too hard, so they sent it back to be fixed. The programmer still didn't change anything, and sent it back to them, and this time they said it was set up with each Mode just right, one Easy, and one Hard. So then it was reviewed by magazines, and this was the first game ever to have different difficulty levels. The magazines tested the game, and said... "Normally we would give the game 8 out of 10, but because of the two difficulty Modes we will score the game 9 out of 10. That's a secret that nobody knew about. So I already knew about the subject in the link. Pincho Paxton
