Link... Astronomers Discover Planet That Shouldn't Be ThereOK.. this next idea is totally random. It's not a theory, it's barely speculation, it's talking aloud... My planets are formed by holes, the area of least resistance in space, and gravity moves into the area of least resistance. Whole areas of space can become displaced by the flow of gravity. My Universe has huge bubbles that come together, and if they meet from opposite directions they can fold down to create these huge rings, the other half of a sphere folds down to create half a sphere, but the same happens from the other direction, so you get a complete sphere joined in the middle... that would make a Saturn-like planet. Two halves joined in the middle with flow forces hitting top, and bottom, plus a ring. OK so my theory may include a way to shove a planet far away from a sun. You use a sun with rings, so that the solar wind is channelled X/Z. I don't know if such a sun exists, but we see suns with funnels, so a disk is just the other type of funnel that is possible. The planet would be shoved away from the sun, and would pick up all of its energy from a narrow beam. These vague ideas of mine quite often work out right, so I don't ignore them, but I don't usually write them straight down. The idea will probably have more physics added to it, and then it will make more sense. Pincho Paxton
