The descriptions of the physics in the link involve the use of other physics which are not accounted for either, so you end up with a description that requires a description, and that's not much use to anybody. For example some of the explanation involves temperature, yet temperature is also physics, so the description needs to be scaled down more.
I would say that magnetism is playing a part in this, that is the next scale down.
