There's a dark outline around the orange glow. It looks like a collapse of gravity towards the Galaxy. I would say that this Galaxy is under a lot of pressure, hence lots of star formation. The black hole should be growing from this pressure, the disk should widen. This is the sort of thing that should happen in a new Galaxy where the pressures are all happening before they have had time to cancel out the forces.
