But my idea of inflation was based on Black Holes, and not the Big Bang. The idea of an inflaton sounds thrown together. I prefer the idea that gravity can collide in opposite directions to create a black hole, and the collision forces gravity to part. If you part gravity it is like the knot in a tree, and it will move sideways. That's enough to create the illusion of inflation. I don't add new physics to science, I take away most of the physics until I am left with the minimum requirements.
