It doesn't alter anything, all of the other physics are relative to the Aether scale, so all of the physics still work the same way, but bigger... and they don't know they are bigger.
The Theory Of Everything is still as simple as before, but the fact that you don't know that is the problem.

Those looking forward to a day when science's Grand Unifying Theory of Everything could be worn on a t-shirt may have to wait a little longer as astrophysicists continue to find hints that one of the cosmological constants is not so constant after all.
