This is kind of a rough diagram of how you should really picture interference patterns. They aren't wave physics, they are hole/filler physics. Mass is for gravity to spin inside negative mass holes. They form building blocks of spin resistance, and holes with no resistance.
It becomes super important in the two slit experiment that you realise that there are no wave physics involved.
